Capitol PRIDE - New date is August 15th

Normally Capitol Pride is held on the first Saturday of August and has been for several years, but because this year the city of Salem moved the date of their annual The Bite Festival to that weekend, the Riverfront park is obviously going to be very full. AND, because the following weekend will be Eugene Pride, we are forced to change the date of Capitol Pride this year to the THIRD weekend of August, meaning...CAPITOL PRIDE WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 15! This year's festival will, again, be held at Salem's Riverfront park and will promise to provide fun, entertainment and activities for the whole family. Please keep checking the website for updates as well as vendor/sponsor information very shortly or feel free to email or call me to reserve your spot.

 

And PLEASE join us on Sunday, August 2, 7pm at Salem's Southside Speakeasy bar for a Capitol Pride benefit event..the 2nd Annual Woo Family show! This will be a very fun and FREE drag show hosted by the Woo Family (no cover!), as well as an auction & raffle (donations of auction/raffle items always accepted!).

Camping Excursion around Mount St. Helen's

 

I own and operate NorthWest EcoExcursions, LLC.  We do guided kayak tours and horseback riding on the beach on the Central Oregon Coast.  This is an all lesbian owned and operated business. 

 

July 12-18, 2009 we are venturing to start a week-long camping excursion around Mt. St. Helens.  So far it is an all lesbian crowd that has signed up.  This trip is offered at only $300 because it is our maiden excursion.  It will not be offered at this price again. 

 

Participants will hike, kayak, camp, swim, and learn about the history, culture, geology, and flora & fauna of this active volcano.  The price is all-inclusive.  It includes meals, camping equipment, camp fees, park fees, instruction on kayaking, and a wealth of education relating to Mt. St. Helens.
