The Boneyard Brawlers will meet the 8-Wheel Assassins on a track of blood and glory. 28 of Salem's finest derby warriors will meet, but only one team shall emerge victorious.

We have shown this film in twice this past winter and spring and we we want to show it again .  If you didn't see it, you don't want to miss it this time.  And the best thing is, it won't cost you anything!  Follow the healing journey of ten people who have gone away for four days to work intensely with  their particular physical or emotional challenge using EFT.  Their stories are poignant and powerful and this movie is extremely well done.  So, whether you are new to EFT or an experienced tapper, this film will teach you all about EFT and inspire you in your own healing journey.

After the movie we will also do a live demonstration that will have EVERYONE tapping happily home.

PFLAG Meeting - Corvallis

COME TO THE SEPTEMBER PFLAG MEETING (Parents and Friends of Lesbian, Gay, Bi and Transgender People) on Monday, September 28th at 6:45pm to 9:00pm

All people gay or straight who celebrate diversity are welcome to come and you do not need to be a member.

This month we will be having a time for sharing and also members of a new group in town will be telling us about "UniQ" a new social group!!

Below is a brief description of the group:

A social group for adults interested in the queer community of Corvallis and Albany. Come to our meetings to hang out and have fun, discuss queer issues, and meet friends. Straight-identified people more than welcome. 18 and up or out of high school, please.

At the meeting they described themselves as a social group involved in political activities and education. Their president is Erika Kloppenburg, and they currently meet at the Pride Center at OSU on Thursday nights from 7-9pm.

Portland AIDS Walk Fundraiser

I am VERY happy to report that we're about to $900 for my Portland AIDS Walk fundraising goal of $1,000! I have a couple more checks to mail in, as well as the $50 from my anniversary performance number as Mr Gay Salem last week. Thanks to ALL who have donated...past Gay Oregon's, Monarchs from Portland, Salem & Eugene, friends, family and co-workers! It's touching to see so many folks come together for this cause!

Surely we can meet that goal...but can we beat it?! I think so!! Remember, donating just $20 buys Cascade AIDS Project 50 safe-sex kits that they distribute all over Oregon and SW Washington as well as help them with loads of services and resources they provide the community.
