More Info	Get together with all of your Tualatin Riverkeepers friends at the Kinton Grange. We will be celebrating our river with beautiful photos and inspiring speakers, and ICE CREAM FLOATS! We've invited some special guests who are helping us achieve our dream of the Tualatin River Water Trail with public access facilities every 5 to 7 miles on the lower river. Save a spot on the calendar and call a friend to invite them.

 

Bushstock 2010 - Women's only BBQ and Campout

This year marks the 10th Anniversary of Bushstock.  Please mark your calendars for Bushstock 2010.  The event includes a BBQ, campfire, musical entertainment, wishy washy and ladder golf tournaments, and other games and prizes, including a 2 night stay at an all women's resort.  In addition, we will be selling Bushstock t-shirts, sweatshirts, tanks and necklaces at the event. 

For those who don't want to campout on Saturday night, you can always come out and enjoy Saturday evening and return Sunday morning for the pancake breakfast, campfire, BBQ lunch and other activities. For those camping, you can begin to arrive around 4:00 pm on Saturday to set up your tents.

Queer Youth Camp

Camp is from July 25th - 31st, 2010

QAMP! provides GLBTQ-identifying youth and their siblings a week-long, traditional summer camp experience. This camp will give youth ages 13-21 who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or questioning their sexuality or gender a chance to enjoy a week outdoors with their peers. QAMP! is open to youth nationwide.

QAMP'ers can take part in a wide range of activities like canoeing, swimming, camping, climbing walls, sports, arts and much more. Along with these fun activities and programs, they will gain friendships, memories, self-confidence and life skills in a safe, nurturing community of their peers and highly trained staff.

QAMP! takes place at One Heartland Center, which is surrounded in a beautiful north woods setting just 90 minutes north of the Twin Cities. One Heartland Center is accredited through the American Camp Association.

Some partial and full scholarships are available for youth and families of need.

Mt. Saint Helen's Trip

NorthWest EcoExcursions is doing one more Mt. St. Helen's trip for this season.  This camping trip starts September 13th through the 19th.  It is all-inclusive.  It includes camping fees, meals, camping supplies and equipment, park entry fees.  Bonus is it includes a guide and a great cook to do all the meal prep. for you.  The price is set low at only $600 per person.  Please call or email me with questions or to book your trip.  Hurry as it is expected to book fast.  541.765.2598

Summer is right around the corner and so is Bushstock Campout 2009! Please mark your calendars for Saturday, July 25th & Sunday, July 26th. Last year we had approximately 100 women attend the event. We have musical entertainment lined up, wishy washy and ladder golf tournaments and a new game for those that would like to join in. In addition, we will be selling t-shirts, sweatshirts, tanks and necklaces at the event. Hope you all can make it and join in the festivities.

For those who don't want to campout in a tent, you can always come out and enjoy Saturday evening and return Sunday morning for the pancake breakfast, campfire, BBQ lunch and other activities.

Camping Excursion around Mount St. Helen's

 

I own and operate NorthWest EcoExcursions, LLC.  We do guided kayak tours and horseback riding on the beach on the Central Oregon Coast.  This is an all lesbian owned and operated business. 

 

July 12-18, 2009 we are venturing to start a week-long camping excursion around Mt. St. Helens.  So far it is an all lesbian crowd that has signed up.  This trip is offered at only $300 because it is our maiden excursion.  It will not be offered at this price again. 

 

Participants will hike, kayak, camp, swim, and learn about the history, culture, geology, and flora & fauna of this active volcano.  The price is all-inclusive.  It includes meals, camping equipment, camp fees, park fees, instruction on kayaking, and a wealth of education relating to Mt. St. Helens.
