A fundraiser to benefit the Portland Shockwave, Portland's Premier Women's Tackle Football Team! Crab-Pasta-Bread-Green Salad-Cold Beverages Alcoholic Beverages available for an addition cost. All You Can Eat Crab Dinner (ages 4 & up) $35 per person Kids Dinner Buffet Without Crab (ages 4-12) $10 Children 3 & under eat free Doors open at 3:30pm Doors close at 6:15pm Kids tickets available at the door. Fundraiser for Lavender Womyn

There is a benefit show this Sunday, Nov 13, 2011 from 6:00pm - 10:00pm hosted by the Capitol Forum and the Southside Speakeasy to raise funds for Lavender Womyn. No cover, 21+ only. Entertainers are welcome to perform. They are still looking for musicians.  If anyone has any raffle or auction items, they could sure use them.

 The Southside Speakeasy is located at:  3529 Fairview Industrial Drive SE in Salem

 Please come out and help support Capitol Forum and Southside Speakeasy for having this event to raise funds for our group.

More Info	We at Salem Spirit of Life Church are trying to raise funds for our friend Pastor Robert in Uganda. He’s in the hospital recovering from heart surgery. In Uganda you must pay for needed medical treatment before you can receive treatment. His surgery cost approximately $3500.00. Well, we have raised half of the cost of the treatment. For those of you who do not know Pastor Robert, he is a 28 year old Pastor who also runs an Orphanage. We at Salem Spirit of Life Church have been helping them over the past year. Please lift Pastor Robert and his Orphan's in prayer during these difficult times.

OPUS VII GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION Kaz Oveissi, visionary and Executive Director of OPUS VII announces, “This night is going to be a big party and everyone is invited!” ... “It is my job to transform OPUS VII from a fine art gallery into a social and artistic platform for our whole community. We will do this together and I promise it will be fun.” The grand opening event will occur in conjunction with Eugene’s First Friday Art Walk. OPUS VII is the final stop on the walk and will feature the unveiling of “Where is the Love?: The Story of Ziba Design.” This Ziba exhibition reveals the creative process used to design innovative products, environments, and interactive experiences over its 26 year history for companies such as Microsoft, Sirius, Umpqua Bank, KitchenAid and Memorex. An explanatory display will outline the design process, using photographs, sketches, and models to convey the complexity of invention. A replica “war room” from a recent design project at Ziba will be installed on one wall, offering a snapshot of the research and concept-development process typical of modern design consultancies.
