This video is of last year's (2010) celebration event. This year, on Sunday, August 21, 2011 @ 2:00pm, we will be celebrating Lavender Womyn's 8th anniversary at Kim and Kathy's home.
We will provide hamburgers, hot dogs and bottled water.
We'd like you to bring a side dish to share and your own beverage if you'd like something other than water. Also, bring your own chair or blanket, if you'd like one to sit on.
This is a family event, so bring the kids. We'll have volleyball, badminton, basketball and billards available. We also have a huge sandbox, teeter totter and video games for the kids.
If you have a squirt gun, you might want to bring it as well. If it's a nice day, we'll have some water games to play. We're also going to play a really fun game that is sure to get you laughing until your stomach hurts. :)
For those who want to stay into the evening, we'll get the fire pit going and roast some smores, and sit around the campfire.
It's going to be a great time, so be ready to come celebrate with us at our home. If you've never attended a Lavender Womyn's event before, no worries. There are going to be LOTS of new women here who are attending for the first time, so you won't be alone. I know you'll find Lavender Womyn to be very warm and welcoming, so come join us and have a wonderful day of celebration.
For directions and to RSVP email support@lavenderwomyn.com and let us know approx. how many hamburgers and/or hot dogs you'll be eating so we'll know how much to buy.
